John Gumas

John Gumas is the President of Gumas Advertising, a San Francisco based, full service strategic marketing and Advertising agency he founded in 1984. A veteran of the advertising and marketing industry, John has built Gumas Advertising into a very successful company servicing a host of regional, national and international clients.
John currently sits on many boards, including the San Francisco Giants Community Fund (for which he is now serving as president) and The Elios Society. In addition, John is an adjunct professor of advertising and marketing, a regular columnist for numerous publications, an author, and a frequent speaker. He holds a degree in marketing and advertising from San Francisco State University.
John was born and raised in San Francisco. He is married and has three children, one dog, one cat and 5 guinea pigs.
